Emersyn Claire: 4 Months

edit4mohts1

This last month has been a roller coaster ride!
At least for me. I’m sure Emma feels great.
She is a drooling machine lately, I really think she is working on some teeth! Nothing has popped through yet, but I hope they do soon because girlfriend is cranky. She is waking up a lot at night again as well. These last few nights she has been up every. single. hour. I try nurse her and put her back to sleep, but usually she isn’t having it and just wants to be held. I’m hoping this ends once the teeth come in.

During the day she is a pretty happy girl as long as someone is talking to her or she is being held. She loves her face to face time, and I always get big smiles when I sing to her. She is rolling from tummy to back, and is SO close to rolling from back to tummy! She also scoots around in circles if she is on her play mat. I feel like she is a lot more active than Randsom was at this age. She keeps me busy and I love her to death!

Stats-

Weight: 16 pounds and 6 ounces which is 90th percentile.

Height: 27″ which is 98tn percentile!

  1. Oh my goodness, she is so cute! Those little outfits you put her in are the most adorable as well. 🙂 Those sleepless nights will never go away! Lol. When they’re old enough to fend for themselves you’ll lay in bed at night and worry yourself over what they’re doing or if they’re okay. It’s for life!

    1. Thank you so much Sabrina! I love getting to play dress up with her 😉
And I’m sure you are right, I can’t imagine life when my kids are grown. A whole other level of worry!

    1. I love looking back with my son and seeing his monthly photos, I’m glad I’ve been able to keep up with Emma as well! Its hard to remember when life gets busy though! I know I will cherish them in the future.

  2. She is such a cutie!! I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you could be hitting the four month sleep regression. Basically it’s when babies change the way they sleep (so now they are more “adult” like). If you google it, you can find tons of info. I hope that you can get some sleep soon! 🙂

    1. That is what my pedatrition told me as well… I think I blocked out all of the horrible sleep regressions with my first. Now I’m relearning everything! AH

  3. She is super cute mama! Love the headband and outfit! I just had my little one and can’t wait to get started sewing again when I can sit longer than a few minutes!

    1. I wish I was talented enough to sew my own baby clothes and accessories! That would be so fun and special! Congrats on your new little one 🙂

  4. She is a doll! We are going through the teething thing at 9 months. So, I am with you on the night wakings and her just wanting to be held. I wish I could hold my babe all night, but mama’s gotta sleep too! They grow up so fast!!

    1. Sorry you are in the same boat- it can be hard sometimes! Teething is one of my least favorite things about parenting. Thankfully it doesn’t last long! And I just have to be better at reminding myself that the snuggles are more important!
